Brandi Coleman began her training at Carol Anglin Dancenter in Shreveport, LA and was a charter member of Louisiana Dance Theatre. As a member of LDT, she had the opportunity to perform at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Chicago and at Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center, as well as at Regional Dance America Festivals, including the National Festival at Houston's Jones Hall. She also received scholarships to study at the Giordano Dance Center (Chicago), Tremaine Dance Center (Los Angeles), and at Jacob's Pillow (Massachusetts), where she first studied with Billy Siegenfeld. She joined Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in 2001 and has since had the priviledge of teaching and performing with the company nationally and internationally. She has also represented JRJP in choreographic residencies and workshops at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Western Kentucky University, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and at the JRJP Classic Jazz and Tap Institute in Boston. Locally, Brandi has taught the JRJP technique for Gallery 37 and has been a faculty member at Northwestern University since 2002.
