Wendy Johnson, former New Zealand Ballroom and Latin champion is a world-renowned coach, choreographer, emcee and adjudicator. 

In addition to her ballroom training, she has had 10 years of ballet training. Among Wendy’s many achievements, she is a three time winner of Choreographer of the Year, North America (2002-2004) and placed 7th in the British Amateur Latin Championships.

Wendy has judged in New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Germany, England, Finland, Norway, France and the United States.  Additionally she is co-organiser of the San Diego Dancesport Championships and the Holiday Dance Classic.

Wendy has appeared in numerous television shows including Grease Day USA (1978) and 25 episodes of the Merv Griffin Show, AM San Francisco (1985), the Late Show (New Zealand), KPBS Legends Show (2002). Wendy is a choreographer and coach for Cheryl Burke, Nick Kosovich,Tony Dovolani, Alec Mazo & Edyta Sliwinska, and many U.S. and World Champions.
