Coming out to Arizona was no accident for Frank and Tammy Romani, ballroom dance instructors in the West Valley and owners of their own home-based business, Thunderbird Dance Company. They saw an opportunity here that has blossomed into a huge dance business for the couple. Starting from scratch, they began working out of rec centers around the west valley and teaching out of their home. Over the past 15 years they have taught and influenced, in some way, more than 1000 dancers in the Phoenix area. Soon after moving here, Frank also began DJing for ballroom dances and has been very successful since, as a certified ballroom dance instructor with over 30 years experience, he knows what music is best for dancing. He has played for dances all over the Valley. Tammy's experience has also gained her credibility in the dance world with a degree and training in ballet, modern, and jazz dancing. They have both choreographed and showcased their talents, along with their 5 children, their son-in-law, and their 2 granchildren. They currently teach classes in many cities in the West Valley, DJ for several dances in the area as well, and are hosting a dance cruise to Alaska in August 2008.
